Monday Morning Motivation

"Well, there's one thing.  They can't order me to stop dreaming." ~ Cinderella
How many times in life do we feel like people put us down and tell us that we aren't good enough?  How many times in life do we want something that seems out of reach?  What goes on in your dreams isn't something that someone can tell you is good or bad.  It's not something that's out of reach when you're dreaming it.  Sometimes dreams needs to stay just that....dreams... until you've put all the pieces together and want to make it a reality.

If in your dreams you have a successful business that no one believes in but you, don't tell anyone until you're ready to show what a success it will be.  If in your dreams if you want Prince Charming to come wisk you away to a happily ever after, but you know if you tell someone that you want that life they will just laugh at you.  Well, don't tell them until you make it a reality.

God puts dreams in our hearts for a reason.  No person can stop those dreams.  And no one can tell you what to or what not to dream.  You just have to have the courage to make those dreams come true when the time is right!

So keep on dreaming!!

Disney Quote

Yes, another Disney inspiration!  Here's a quote from Bambi's mom:
"Where one thing falls, another grows.  Maybe not what was there before, but something new and wonderful all the same."
Think about that.  We all fall down and loose our way at some point.  Or maybe we're told no so many times that we can't see the end result anymore.  Or maybe we aren't doing what our passion is and we feel stuck.  No matter what, from time to time, we all fall down.  But usually after we fall down and readjust our thinking, we tend to come out better than we were before.  We have new ideas.  We've learned from our mistakes.  We take the no's and it gives us something worth fighting for.  We are still who we are, but I think we come out on the other side more polished.  We're happier.  We have more strength.  We feel healthier.  We have a new outlook on life or the situation.  We feel as if it's our time to shine.  Learning to take that bad experience that knocked us down and come up improved from it, makes us who we are today!  A much better person than we were before!

Disney Quote

There are quotes from every Disney movie that relate to every day life.  Quotes that maybe we should think more about than just hearing them while watching the movie.
"Who says that my dreams should have to stay just my dreams?" ~ Ariel, The Little Mermaid
Think about it.  If we all just kept our dreams in our heads, where would we be today?  We have to take our dreams and pursue them.  If we want to make them into a reality, we have to have the courage to take them out of our heads and actually do something with them.  If you want to write a book, start writing.  If you want to be a singer, start singing.  If you want to be baker, start baking.  If you want to start your own company, start making it happen.  If you want to take your ideas and make them into reality, start now.  There's no better time than right now.  If you want to make something a reality, it's the time.  Don't wait another minute.  Start figuring out what you need to do and make it happen.  It might require time to get to your goal, but make a goal and stick to it.

Don't just have a dream and let it go to waste.  This is the exact moment you should be taking that dream out of your head and living it!!

Hidden Mickey's

Okay, after being at Disney World and attempting to find as many Hidden Mickey's as I can, it's kinda fun finding them in normal every day life too.  Here's a few examples in the parks of Hidden Mickey's.

Here's one out of the plates on the door in the Morocco pavilion at EPCOT.

And here's one in Living With The Land at EPCOT in the test tubes.

Since I can't be at Disney all the time, I have started a collection of ones I have found in every day life here at home.  Like these:

Here's a Hidden Mickey in marshmallows.

If you look real close, the shadows make a Hidden Mickey.

Yep, even on a tie at a yard sale.

And today as I was reading a kid book, I found another one!

This is just something fun to do.  But you should try it too.  If you find one, take a picture and share it with me!

Disney Quote

"If you can dream it, you can do it." ~ Walt Disney
Anyone that knows me knows that I'm a big Disney fan.  Walt said some really great encouraging things in his lifetime.  This is one of my favorite quotes from him.  It's time to take dreams and make them a reality!  Think about it.  His dreams were all started by a mouse.  Something so small has turned into something so big. Just like we can take a small dream and make a huge impact in our lives or the lives around us.

Think about all the big entrepreneurs in the world.  The majority started with something so tiny.  Just a little plan and it just grew and grew from there.  They were just ordinary people doing extraordinary things in life.  We can do that too.  Our dreams don't have to be a way to get rich or have the next best idea.  It can just as easily be that we want something so simple to happen in our lives.  We just need to remember that if we can dream it, we can do it!  No matter how big or small it is.

See, you never thought you could get a life lesson from someone that started one of the most successful companies because of a mouse, did you?!
